In a specially set up SoundLab, everything revolves around the topic of acoustics and sound technology. The laboratory character of the SoundLab offers audio enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the sound of modern audio technologies live, ask questions and exchange ideas about practical challenges. The latest developments and solutions are demonstrated under live conditions and can be discussed with experts.

The backdrop for perfect sound experiences

The Soundlab is a free-standing, six-meter-high room with a floor space of approximately 110 m² and seating for 63 listeners.
At one end there is a stage area of ​​8 m² and a 70" monitor for lectures and presentations. Twelve ceiling speakers hang above the audience area and there are 14 more speakers all around the walls. The walls are double-walled and are 2,5° apart from the right angle to each other to avoid parallel walls with flutter echoes. All around the walls there is also a 5 meter high black curtain made of SATIN CS object fabric with 350g/m² and 100% drape; the curtain can be pulled away if desired. There are six StaQtube Mobile bass absorbers under the closed ceiling.
