With "Future Presence I: Mozart String Quintet," visitors experience a chamber music concert from a completely new perspective—seated in the middle of the ensemble, as if they were part of the performance themselves. The immersive VR production was recorded in 2020 at St. Elisabeth Church in Berlin and is based on the "Allegro" from Mozart's String Quintet in G minor, K. 516.
The sonically and visually dense experience was created by Henrik Oppermann (Sound direction, spatial sound) and Joe Steel (Direction, Cinematography). With the help of AMBEO CubeSennheiser's technology and 6DoF-VR create a multidimensional listening experience in which sound spaces seem walkable and classical music can be experienced in a completely new way.
