INSPIRE is an EU funded ERASMUS+ project that aims to enhance the green, digital, entrepreneurial, social and resilience skills of existing and aspiring professionals in the performing arts. It focuses on specific profiles such as production managers, set designers, artistic and stage directors, facility managers and stage technicians, and aims to develop an innovative upskilling program to address aspects of ‚sustainability'.
The development of the training content is based on a Labour Market Needs Analysis, a comprehensive report with input from 235 stakeholders in the performing arts sector from 5 targeted countries and beyond. This research also includes the documentation of best practices and existing training opportunities in the 5 partner countries: Austria, Belgium, Greece, Italy and Spain, with additional desk research on Germany.
The analysis is vital for matching learning and job market needs, improving responsiveness in the sector. The will to bridge the gap between education and labour market needs paves the way for a more sustainable and skilled future for professionals.
The roundtable will explore how INSPIRE's objectives and outcomes can create a foundation not only for the performing arts, but also in the context of a cross-sectoral ecosystem, embedding needs common to the cultural and creative industries.
